Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Born in Stavanger on June 15, 1996. Her professional name is Aurora. Her name could be spelled as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well reviewed by various music websites. She has previously recorded two highly-profile cover songs Half the World Away by the group Oasis in a commercial for Christmas by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. In order to do so, she began writing original compositions. She has cited renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan as influences as well as a love for Bjork's style. When her mother told her that the songs she composed could be used to not gain fame for her but instead to inspire individuals to recognize their own value and impact to this world, she started performing them publicly. She was suggested by her mother to perform her songs publicly to help people realize the importance of their work and how they impact the world. They didn't even know until the age of 14. Aurora's success was never her dream. She claims that she enjoys creating songs. For her, music is the best method of feeling anything.
